In this HDB flat, you have beautiful carpentry work with ample storage. An interesting concept of mix and match is to use different shapes and sizes in the interior. This is the approach that the designer takes for the timeless contemporary design, and the result is a stunning outlook.
Let’s start from the living area, where the standard TV feature wall has been expanded to a full wall, floor to ceiling, left to right. And within that wall there are multiple different shape and size shelves and display niches. Different wooden laminates also make the design more playful, and the introduction of glass/mirror adds a unique touch.
Literally the same approach is used in the master bedroom, this time for the wall behind the bed. This time around, the interior designer uses mirror and glass for the design of the nightstands, and there are less variations of the wooden laminate.
What is great in the master bedroom is the way the designer implements an office desk within the TV feature wall.
The carpentry piece that echoes the design the most is the shoes cabinet. For the shoes cabinet, the designer uses four to five different styles, including wooden laminate, glass and dimmed glass.
