22 Dec Rustic Moderne Concept At The Palette
What the designer has done here is give the modern interior a little rustic touch, which results with warm feeling of the home.
Starting from the living area, where the centerpiece of the carpentry work is the TV feature wall. And while wooden laminate has been a standard for TV feature walls in modern designs, we rarely seen the background of the TV console polished with wooden laminate as well. This small rustic touch makes the difference between a standard modern home, and warmer modern interior.
For the foyer area, the designer keeps things simple with the shoes cabinet. One approach that we can see through the whole carpentry work in the apartment is the illumination of the furniture, as evidenced here in the shoes cabinet. This approach gives the interior more rustic look.
In the dining area, illumination comes from a false ceiling, illuminating the retro and traditional timber dining table. The vintage table fits nicely into the modern setting, giving the interior traditional look.
That wooden laminate feature wall we saw first in the living area makes an appearance in the master bedroom as well. The bay window area has been utilized nicely, an approach that makes an appearance in common bedrooms as well.
For example, in this common bedroom, the designer utilizes the bay window area for placing a single bed and study table.
